Summer holidays for me are about sandy feet, crystal clear afternoon swims, reading, no make up, dinner on the beach and time with my children and family. BUT when I need a break from the sun and sand, I can always find time for a sneaky escape to Milton for some vintage shopping, pampering and of course a 'good' coffee. Only 5 minutes from the beach and has all the charm of a beautiful country town, rolling green hills and all! Family and friends know that I have claimed this as 'my special little village'.

What I love about Milton, is that every time I visit 'my special little village', charming new places keep popping up. My latest discovery, tucked away just off the main rd, is Afterglow - the beautifully styled designer store featuring divine handmade jewellery from the creative duo Charms Baltis & Ben Neich. Their handmade jewellery designs perfectly reflect the couple's obvious passion for design, fashion and film. The Afterglow store is scattered with vintage charm with antique books, rustic suitcases and whimsical designer dresses providing the perfect backdrop for the stunning statement pieces of jewellery.
