Walking The Rocks

What a fabulous day exploring my very own beautiful city of Sydney on foot last Saturday. Eight hours spent wandering through Sydney's iconic Rocks Markets, Botanical Gardens, Opera House and Walsh Bay taking photos along the way, learning a few photography tricks with Focus 10. My lovely friend Toni, the beautiful subject in my pics, was my partner in crime as we walked the pavement, capturing all that Sydney has to offer - late afternoon sun, food markets, the stunning Opera House and some of the hidden backstreets of the rocks. I felt like a tourist in my own city. I am now overwhelmed by how much there is too learn about digital photography, but very excited and having so much fun learning! A lovely amber ale and tomato and bocconcini pizza at the Lord Nelson was the perfect end to a wonderful day, and of course the most delicious Guylian Cafe hot choc and macaron for the drive home.

It is days like this that remind me of why I live in Sydney....and why I want to keep taking photos!
