Australian map blackboards, pineapple cushions, tea towels, enamel cups and Waratah hurricane lanterns - brand new online store Everingham and Watson launches with a fantastic range of Australiana inspired homewares, perfectly suited to our relaxed Aussie lifestyle.

To launch, Everingham & Watson had lots of fun with a four day Pop Up Shop in the gentrified Logan Road precinct at The Gabba, Brisbane's funky new hangout - cool cafes, boutiques and loads of eat, read, love inspiration apparently (note to add 'The Gabba' to my weekend away list! And such a nice story behind the E&W brand too. Susie Everingham & Liz Watson are school friends who introduced their brand to Brisbane in late 2011. Thrilled with the success of the pop up, the online store was an obvious next step.

Establishing their own line of E&W original items all available online, Susie and Liz have scoured both Australia and further afield to ensure they have a range of unique and individual product offerings, with a deliberate Australiana theme. For the home you can find pineapple print cushions, waratah red and navy blue hurricane lanterns and very cute KA for E&W ceramic large red stumpy vase and milk jugs. The Falcon enamelware takes me back to childhood hot chocolates on weekend camping trips. For the body is plenty of Aussie luxe with beautifully packaged Leif products made with Australian native essential oils like lemon myrtle, sandlewood and eucalyptus.

The duo share a common passion for creative projects. Susie has studied law, business and interior design, and Liz has worked in arts and design in Australia and abroad after studying visual arts, graphic design and arts management. Her creative energies are channelled through graphic design, event styling, product design and her own original artworks. I love what they have created together and will most definitely be bookmarking the E&W website for fabulous, quirky and unique interior inspiration.
