Heart at Home

Heart at Home
Wear your 'heart on your sleeve' at home. Here is a few of my favourite things in my own lounge and hall area. I love to add little pops of colour in the corners of my home, to display collections of special things from my travels to create little clusters of love. Books from France, paintings from Peru, teacups from China mixed with lovely local delights. Little reminders of treasured moments, scattered here and there reminders of faraway places that have captured the heart.  A few favourite things to bring the heart into my home - framed rugs from Peru, bright coloured Materialistic cushions from local Sydney designer Angie McCarthy and my extra special Ruby Star Traders purple inlay table is my absolute favourite. Nothing really matches - its all mixed patterns, bold colours and neutrals blended together to create my own little eclectic space. My very sweet EDIT hand painted kids chair makes a perfect little bookshelf when not it use by Mr 2 & Mr 4. Bright fresh cut flowers always add the finishing touch to any room to make it really feel homely. So...why not unpack those old boxes stored away and find those little treasures to remind you of special times and places. You would be amazed how lovely old things look when mixed with newer more contemporary pieces....
