Quintessential Christmas

The Quintessential Magazine Launches in true duckeggblue style. I was lucky enough to attend the launch of the gorgeous new The Quintessential Magazine recently. Such a pleasure to spend an afternoon of high tea and macarons with the team behind the magazine - Leanne and Tracy in my favourite Sydney interiors store - quintessential duckeggBLUE in Balmain.

"Create your own visual style, let it be unique and yet identifiable for others". Orson Welles

The inspiring and creative new magazine is edited by Tracy Lines, (formerly lifestyle publisher at Murdoch books, and longstanding creative director of Inside Out magazine), and curated by owner of quintessential duckeggBLUE, Leanne Carter Taylor - they head up the team. Working alongside the talented designers at Racket Design, this online magazine is one to inspire. “Exploring all things quintessential, the reader will get a has a fresh insight into the home of found industrial & antique objects. ‘The quintessential Magazine’ shares the inspiring stories – the people, the collectors and the makers - the essence of who we are and what we believe” says Leanne.

The styling is beautiful, the online magazine is so easy to navigate and there is a few little interactive digital surprises thrown in too. I just love the personal touch, the rich content, emotive storytelling and beautiful photography. All of the hard work has paid off for Leanne and Tracy - they have created an amazing product in record time. A simply beautiful, warm, and inviting online space just waiting to be explored. I just love the 'Me & My' section and of course the 'Quintessential Christmas' feature with window styling in the Balmain store to match! Cant wait for the next edition.
