If you haven't heard of Kinfolk already then you are hearing about them now. One of my favourite places for entertaining inspiration is Kinfolk Magazine, featured many times on eat read love blog, and a haven of beautiful inspiration for super stylish small gatherings. Kinfolk is a growing community of artists with a shared interest in small gatherings, and advocating a more natural approach to entertaining and table styling. A celebration of tables shared with like minded individuals, that allow friendships to flourish in a simple, uncomplicated, and less contrived way. With Christmas upon us I thought this gorgeous Kinfolk dinner at Terrain might just provide that little extra spark of inspiration you need to create a magical lunch or dinner with friends and family, whether it be a relaxed dinner by candlelight in your own backyard, a picnic under the stars, or a more formal table celebration with your closest loved ones. I just love the use of hanging twinkle lights, candlelit tents, fresh locally sourced ingredients, the use of natural elements like greenery in the table settings, up-cycled jars for vases, and the ever present flow of the outside-in.
