Afternoon Tea with Kinfolk Magazine Part #1
Photos by Tealilyphotography
Welcoming Kinfolk Magazine to Australia - afternoon tea at the home of Supply Paper Co for the Sydney media launch, hosted by Eat Read Love and Blog Society. Some days you just feel really lucky and happy to have followed down a certain path. In the three years I have been blogging Kinfolk magazine has been a huge source of inspiration to me. Kinfolk is all about celebrating small gatherings. Bringing together communities, sharing with fellow creatives and like minded artists. On the eat read love journey I have made some beautiful friends and found what I call my 'creative soulmates' along the way. (You know who your are!!) So when Luisa Brimble told me she was bringing the Kinfolk team to Australia and asked if Jaclyn and I would like to host the afternoon media launch of course there was only one answer. A big YES! Sharing the love and planning anything with Luisa, Jac and Mario (from Mario's Kitchen) is always a treat.
Trish from Tealily Photography has captured the beautiful afternoon spent welcoming the gorgeous ladies from Kinfolk Magazine to Australia - such an honour to meet Kinfolk Community Manager Julie Pointer and Co-Founder and owner Katie Searle-Williams - you are truly so humble and clever and it was such a pleasure to spend a few days with you both. Thanks for your time and generosity. Loved catching up with you also Lisa Madigan, Nadean Richards and of course rock star knitter Jacqui Fink.
We had such a brilliant afternoon at Jessie's home in Manly. The rain didn't keep anyone away! A huge thank you to all of our guests and partners for being part of this day. A special thanks: Catering by Mario's kitchen. Venue at the home of Jessie James from Supply Paper Co. And finally to Jac and Luisa - it has been an absolute pleasure planning #kinfolkaustralia with you both and I am so honoured and glad that you chose me to help you. x x x
