Looking for the perfect Friday Lunch in Sydney - Ms G's Turns on the charm.
Where do you take a French blogger to experience a quintenssential Sydney long lunch at it's best? Modern, decidedly Asian and unlike anything I have experienced before - Ms G's of course - one of Merivale's most popular venues in their expanding suite of amazing Sydney restaurants. From the moment you enter the door bathed in pink neon, each floor has its own unique feel with four floors of unexpected dining looking out over leafy Potts Point. The signature Graffiti wall provided the perfect backdrop to enjoy some photo fun with fellow photographer and insta addict Lily Rose, and experience the wonderful new Spring Summer menu on offer.
Executive Chef Dan Hong and Head Chef Paul Donnely can do no wrong, with inventive and unique mouth watering Asian dishes, each with their own special edge. From the standout Prawn Spring Toast, Burrata with English Spinach, Poached Prawn and Chicken Salad and Curry Puff Jaffles, there is something amazing and interesting at every course. Oh and did I mention the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls!
The desserts were incredible! The standout was the 'Stoners Delight Part 3' - an indulgent combination of doughnut ice-cream, peanut dulce de leche, peanut and pretzel brittle, mars bar brownies, passionfruit curd, potato chips and deep fried nutella all together! The 'The Boss' came in at a close second with Thai milk ice-cream, salted caramel honeycomb, puffed rice, kaya French toast and blueberry jam. (I wont be sending these lunch photos to my trainer!) And of course a trip to Ms G's wouldn't be complete without a Ms G's Famous Yuzu Slushee - Wyborowa vodka, shot juju juice, Regan's orange bitters and lemon.
Ms G's has such a great vibe and was absolutely packed for a Friday lunch - so make sure you book ahead if you are planning a long lunch any time soon. With fabulous friendly staff, mouth popping menu, and funky decor, Ms G's comes highly recommended indeed!
Thanks to Lily Rose for spending a wonderful few days in Sydney together. Next time I see you will be in PARIS!
