As part of Good Food Month, Oz Harvest opened up their Alexandria warehouse HQ to the public, hosting 13 top chefs over 10 nights for their KitchenTable dinner series.
As part of Good Food Month, Oz Harvest opened up their Alexandria warehouse HQ to the public, hosting 13 top chefs over 10 nights for their KitchenTable dinner series.
The intimate
set-up features rustic communal dining tables set amongst flowers and fairy
lights. Continuing in a communal vein, each of the three courses are served
share-style, with wines matched by Tarra Warra Estate. The open kitchen set-up gives full view of whichever
culinary great is cooking on the night. Participating chefs include OzHarvest
Ambassadors such as Guillaume Brahimi of Guillaume, Hamish Ingham of Bar H,
Lennox Hastie of Firedoor and Phil Wood of Rockpool.
ERL was lucky enough to sit down to dinner cooked by
husband and wife duo Monty and Jaci Koludrovic, head chef and head pastry chef
at Bondi’s iconic Icebergs Dining Room and Bar.
Their modern Italian menu featured bruschetta topped with
scallops and foie gras, local burrata with prosciutto, silver perch baked with
meyer lemon and a decadent Zokoko chocolate and olive oil mousse. All
ingredients were donated to Oz Harvest by the restaurant.
