Evi O Launches Anekka Artisan Homewares

It is always a proud moment and a smile when a friend launches into a fabulous and exciting new creative project. Just like when I received an email recently from Sydney based multi-disciplinary designer and artist, Evi O, (renowned for her work on high end illustrated books and abstract paintings), who has been rather busy expanding her creativity into designing artisan, contemporary homewares.

Started in 2014, Evi and her team of various talents have just launched their very first collection ANEKKA. The new line offers four pieces, including the iconic Melk bottle/vase available in five different shades and finishes. ANEKKA products are neat and understated, depicting the product’s alignment with the designer’s philosophy.

The team collaborates with Indonesian artisans and explores the possibilities of shape and shades, with each piece individually crafted using high quality clay fired in traditional kiln.
