eat: First stop was the gorgeous flagship Donna Hay general store tucked away in leafy Holdsworth st just off Queen Street. The shelves are filled with the deluxe new Royal Doulton collection and everything a home chef would ever need to make and display beautiful cooking and baking. I am totally in love with my new purchase - pink milk glass cake stands and dome, perfect for displaying the lovely macaroons and cupcakes that you can find in the store. Its well worth a visit. 

read: next stop around the corner to Jones the Grocer, the perfect place to peruse the gourmet food & cook books selection, and sit and read with a lovely coffee and pastry. 

love:  Summer's Floral Woollahra on the corner has the most beautiful selection of flowers and pots. I am a big fan of avoiding the big malls and heading to the smaller village style shops - a much more relaxed way to shop and so many little hidden nooks and treasures to find and sample as you wander...
