'Sea - heaven' at Seahaven - The Blue Swimmer cafe is a fabulous little 'foodies find' tucked away in Gerroa, a serene and gorgeous little holiday town about 1.5hrs South of Sydney.
If you are looking for a little 'casual gourmet' in a lovely seaside town, Blue Swimmer is definitely worth a visit.  Beautifully styled inside and out, some French cafe chairs out front, bright blue walls and rustic timber pieces throughout make for the perfect seaside dining experience. For brunch I can highly recommend the delicious combo of fried eggs, potato, jamon and chorizo, served with fresh sourdough.  Thanks to Rebecca from another south coast favourite, Roots & Wings Design for the hot tip!

I have such fond memories as a child of endless summer days at Seven Mile beach on our regular family holidays, but I haven't been back for a little while. It is one of the best places on the coast to learn to surf, and a great spot for kids to swim as well. The playground across the rd from the cafe will keep busy little ones happy pre-or post coffee too.

Refresh after a morning swim, or sit and watch the sunset as the waves roll in. I will definitely be coming back to Blue Swimmer cafe, next time I think a twilight dinner and wine by the sound of the ocean will be just perfect. I have no doubt that the Blue Swimmer will now become a family staple on our regular South coast treks.
