On a recent visit to Queenstown there was one place that caught my attention - Eichardt's boutique hotel. I instantly fell in love with the inside style, and the outside view! A lovely place for evening cocktails and long breakfasts, with the stunning Lake Wakatipu and mountain backdrop.  Known as one of NZ's most prominent lakefront boutique hotels, it is easy to see how Eichardt's , recently awarded 'Forever Fabulous' in the top 8 hotels in the world (UK Tatler Magazine), has become a Queenstown icon.  The mix of contemporary furnishings, overstuffed leather chairs, rustic lanterns and signature cushions in the dining room combine perfectly with the historic stone walls and antiques in the hotel parlour, to create such a cosy and inviting space to wine, dine and stay.

In my opinion Queenstown truly is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and has a fabulous style of its own when it comes to food and design. I came home inspired by such stylish interiors and culinary delights that this truly remarkable lakeside café and restaurant precinct has to offer. 

I was lucky enough to dine here, now I look forward to returning one day and staying in the luxury Eichardt's Hotel.
