Paris is always a good idea

Of course it is! I have just started planning my upcoming France soiree - a long awaited trip back to the city of love, this time my husband and I are returning with two little boys in tow. How different it will be this time - boutique hotels and fine dining will happily be replaced with visits to Jardin du Luxembourg, apartment living, self catering and lots of walking! A very dear friend lives in Paris, so I cannot wait to spend time together, wandering Paris streets, eating chocolate croissants and sampling coffee and macarons from Laduree of course! I may sneak off from time to time to get plenty of blog inspiration from Rue Cler food markets, vintage flea markets and wandering the chic streets of St Germain and La Marais. A weekend trip to Fontainebleau with friends, and then heading South on the train to Bordeaux, St Emilion and on to beautiful Basque for some french style surfing! The planning is half the fun.
