Peppers Convent and Roberts Restaurant, Polkolbin Hunter Valley

Of course you remember this beautiful home from The Farmer Wants a Wife don't you…? Well no trip to the Hunter Valley wine region (just 2hrs from Sydney) is complete without a visit to the stunning Peppers Convent and Roberts Restaurant Circa 1876 in Polkolbin. This little gem is nestled amongst winding gardens and historic vineyards dating back to the 1800's - it even has white doves! The old white chapel at the back of the Roberts herb garden and vineyards of the Pepper Tree Winery Estate would have to be one of the most stunning wedding locations in NSW. I was lucky enough to visit this beautiful Wine Country with a group of lovely mums from my boy's school and we had an absolute ball. This was our last stop on the way home and definitely worth a look. Oh and the Pepper Tree Shiraz would have to be one of my favourites indeed.
