Wondering Where to Stay in Sydney? Watsons Bay Hotel is the perfect place to eat, stay and play this summer.

If you are looking for a Sydney mini break or something lovely to do this weekend then the Watson's Bay Hotel is the perfect place to eat, stay and play. Take the ferry from the CBD or take a leisurely drive to one of Sydney's most lovely peninsulas. Either way, the iconic Watsons Bay Hotel is sure to please everyone and is definitely a favourite of mine. I just love the casual yet stylish vibe of this place and the stunning views. I returned here recently for a special girls weekend to celebrate the homecoming of a dear friend who has been living abroad in Paris for 10 years. What a great place to relax and enjoy catching up on old times over a glass of bubbles and a delicious meal!

I love the many different corners of this space. The Watson's Bay Hotel offers a number of different dining options. The Beach club is lively and fun, located on the waters edge and with breathtaking views of the city skyline. This is a favourite with tourists and locals alike, and a wonderful place for family get togethers or work gatherings. The upstairs Top Deck private dining area can be reserved for private parties too. I love the tropical decor up here, with pineapples and comfy lounges, and the view is hard to beat. The Beach Club menu offers a fabulous choice of fresh seafood, steak, salads and sharing plates, with new seasonal additions likes sashimi, ceviche, and pork belly with plenty of great coconut cocktails. Catering for families, there is a great kids menu too.

The Sunset Room is lovely for an evening meal or for a seaside breakfast. It is a stunning choice for a casual and intimate beach side wedding too, and you and your guests can choose to stay in one of the 31 boutique suites.  The accommodation is relaxed and comfortable with many different room types to suit all budgets and needs. We loved our loft apartment, plenty of room for a family of 3-4 people. You may recall I hosted a very special pop up dinner at Watsons Bay Hotel last year in the Sunset Room and the space was just beautiful place for an event.

So if you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, why not take a trip to Watsons Bay Hotel for lunch, dinner or a seaside drink. Take in the iconic view or take a stroll around the gorgeous lane ways lined with heritage cottages and colourful doors. Take your swimmers too, there is some gorgeous beaches nearby.

A huge thank you to Watsons Bay Hotel* for hosting us for such a wonderful lunch and stay, and like always I left with a smile on my face and the hope to return very soon.

Have a great weekend

Natalie
