Sophie Thé Stylist hosts Magnum at
Home wine launch in the stunning Bite Club House Woollahra.
Bite Club
House was the perfect setting for this Tuesday night soiree. You know those
perfect balmy Sydney afternoons, walking slowly down streets lined with
Victorian terraces with the sun filtering through the leafy trees. Woollahra
must be one of the prettiest postcodes in Sydney. So I had seen pictures of the Bite Club House
many times but walking in and taking in all of the details was pretty marvelous!
Each guest who walked in said the same this ‘WOW look at this place’. Even the
bathroom was amazing. I felt like I was in a Tuscan mansion, with rustic
peeling walls with layers and layers of colourful paint and rooms filled with
antiques, lamps and artwork. This beautiful privately owned Victorian mansion
has been lovingly restored and full of eclectic pieces that would make any
stylist or weak at the knees.
Sophie Thé stylist was our
lovely host for the evening. Sophie is originally from Lyon in France and has
spent the best part of a decade traveling the world on a yacht. Now based in
Sydney, Sophie has worked with some of the best in the business, spending three
years with Megan Morton at The School and The Propery and now freelance styling
for some of Australia’s best magazines and brands. Sophie gave us plenty of home
and table styling tips as we wandered through each room taking in the details,
and learning a few tricks of the trade while sampling some of the new Magnum at Home wines. I had a lot of fun
styling my own table setting and then sitting and enjoying a delicious and
colourful dinner with fellow bloggers and Sydney media.
Magnum at
Home is a new
range of premium wines in a handy soft pack, showcasing some of the best
winemakers from Australia and New Zealand, including Brookland Valley, Hardy’s and Waipara.
Each soft pack contains equivalent of two bottles of wine and the perfect
little pack to take on a picnic, to a party, when you are camping or when you

a glass at a time” We sampled the wines over dinner and they were really very lovely.
It was a
lovely evening indeed catching up with some familiar faces from the Sydney
blogging community and meeting some new ones. Thank you so much Sophie The for
